💨 Abstract
An Austrian court convicted an 18-year-old, Luca K., on terrorism and criminal organization charges, sentencing him to two years in prison. He admitted to sharing Islamic State propaganda and glorifying an IS sympathizer. Unrelated to a foiled plot against Taylor Swift concerts, he expressed regret and stated he sees his actions as a mistake, acknowledging that having a daughter changed his perspective. The verdict can be appealed, and time spent in custody will reduce the sentence.
