A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck off Panama's Pacific coast on Monday, about 130 miles south of Punta Burica and near the border between Panama and Costa Rica. The quake, which occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, was felt in the Chiriquí province and nearby regions.
