A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck off Panama's Pacific coast on Monday, about 130 miles south of Punta Burica and near the border between Panama and Costa Rica. The quake, which occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, was felt in the Chiriquí province and nearby regions. Reports suggest no injuries, damage, or tsunami threat, and local authorities are monitoring the situation. This area is known for frequent seismic activity.
