💨 Abstract
On Friday, Asian shares mostly rose following Wall Street's record highs driven by positive economic updates and mixed U.S. corporate earnings. Japan's Nikkei 225 fell slightly ahead of an upper house election, while Hong Kong and Shanghai indices gained. Taiwan's Taiex climbed, boosted by TSMC's strong quarterly earnings. Australia's ASX 200 rose, but South Korea's Kospi and India's Sensex fell.
