💨 Abstract
On July 20, 2025, Egyptian police killed two suspected militants from the Hasm movement, linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, during a raid in Giza. A bystander was killed, and an officer was wounded. The militants were reportedly planning attacks. This raid is part of ongoing efforts to combat Islamist insurgency following a previous crackdown in the Sinai Peninsula.
