💨 Abstract
Under a new UN plan, Syrian refugees are beginning to return to Syria from Lebanon, with 72 refugees taking part in the first trip since December's change in government. The UN aims to facilitate the return of over 200,000 Syrians, with Lebanon and the UNHCR providing financial assistance and other services. Despite improving security, Syria still faces economic crises and infrastructure damage, posing long-term hindrances to return.
