💨 Abstract
On July 3, 2025, Hurricane Flossie weakened to a tropical storm with 60 mph winds off Mexico's southwestern Pacific coast. It was moving northwest at 9 mph, expected to remain offshore and dissipate. Despite this, the storm brought swells, dangerous surf, and rip currents to southwestern Mexico and Baja California, along with rain for several Mexican states.
