💨 Abstract

Clashes in Syria between Bedouin tribes, government forces, and Druze fighters have raised concerns about renewed sectarian violence. The Druze, a minority religious sect, have been divided in their response to the post-Assad government, with some advocating for dialogue and others for confrontation. The recent fighting, which began over a tribal dispute, has exacerbated tensions and drawn in government forces, who are seen as favoring the Bedouin.
