💨 Abstract
In Iraq's Dohuk province, an oil field was set on fire by a drone strike, the latest in a series of attacks on northern Iraq's Kurdish region's oil facilities. No group has claimed responsibility. The attack occurred as Iraq signed an investment agreement with HKN Energy. The Kurdish regional government condemned the attack and urged the federal government to prevent further incidents. The U.S. embassy also condemned the attacks, calling on Iraq to secure its investments.
