💨 Abstract
In Milan, Italy, prosecutors are probing an attack on a Jewish man and his son for potential hate crime motives. The incident occurred when they were visiting a highway rest area. The man, a 52-year-old French tourist, was wearing a kippah, a Jewish head covering. Witnesses filmed as they were taunted with cries of “Free Palestine,” then assaulted. During the incident, they were punched and kicked, and attempted to be robbed of his smartphone.
