💨 Abstract
Poland will temporarily reinstate border controls with Germany and Lithuania, following Germany's tougher migration policies. The move comes after Germany increased border checks and turned away some asylum-seekers, which has caused dismay among its neighbors, including Poland. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk have been in talks to minimize the impact, and the measures will start next Monday.
