💨 Abstract
A Swedish man, Osama Krayem, was sentenced to life in prison for his involvement in the 2015 murder of a Jordanian pilot, Mu’ath al-Kaseasbeh, by ISIS. Krayem traveled to Syria in 2014 to join ISIS and was convicted of serious war crimes and terrorist crimes in Sweden. Previously, he had been convicted in France and Brussels for ISIS-related attacks.
