💨 Abstract
The Taliban, denying allegations of rights violations, are still working to free a British couple detained in Afghanistan. Peter and Barbie Reynolds, in their 70s and running an educational organization, were arrested in February. The U.N. expressed concerns over their deteriorating health and potential risk of harm. The Taliban's Foreign Minister claimed the couple's rights are being respected and they are receiving necessary treatment.
