💨 Abstract
A technical problem at the air traffic control center in Swanwick, near London, led to widespread flight delays in Britain on Wednesday. The National Air Traffic Service (NATS) reduced the number of aircraft in the sky to maintain safety. Gatwick Airport reported outbound flights were affected nationwide. NATS engineers worked to resolve the issue but did not provide an estimated resolution time.
