💨 Abstract
In Haiti, gunmen stormed an orphanage in Kenscoff, kidnapping eight people, including an Irish missionary and a 3-year-old child. The orphanage, run by an international charity, cares for over 240 children. This attack highlights the persistent violence in an area controlled by the "Viv Ansanm" gang federation, which the U.S. designated as a terrorist organization. Authorities are relocating the remaining children and staff to safer locations.
