💨 Abstract
A Pakistani-Nepalese rescue team recovered the body of Chinese climber Guan Jing from K2, the world’s second-highest peak, after she was killed by falling rocks. Jing died during her descent on Tuesday, a day after summiting. The rescue operation took several days and resulted in one rescuer's injury. K2 is notorious for its difficulty and danger. This incident follows the recent death of German mountaineer Laura Dahlmeier in the same region.
