💨 Abstract
On August 14, 2025, an explosion in Trujillo, Peru, injured 10 people and damaged 25 homes. The blast, possibly linked to criminal extortion disputes, interrupted electric service and affected vehicles and is the second such incident in the country on that day. Authorities and media frequently report these kinds of explosive attacks, especially on small businesses, in Lima and other Peruvian cities. The explosion in Trujillo included burn and cut injuries.
