💨 Abstract

In London's East End, two pubs, the Mayflower and the Prospect of Whitby, both claim to be the oldest riverside pub, attracting tourists with history and traditional British dishes. The Mayflower, named after the Pilgrim ship, features timbers allegedly from the original vessel and a "Descendants Book" for Mayflower passengers' descendants. The Prospect boasts a long pewter bar and is linked to Judge Jeffreys and Execution Dock.
