💨 Abstract
In Colombia's conflict-ridden southwest, Patricia Elago Zetty and the Indigenous Guard face a surge in child recruitment by armed groups, despite a 2016 peace deal. Armed groups, including FARC dissidents, lure children with money and protection, subjecting them to abuse and violence. The Indigenous Guard, armed with sacred staffs, confronts these groups, often risking their lives to rescue children.
