In Sudan, over 1,600 people have been killed in attacks on medical facilities this year, with 65 documented attacks since January. The latest incident was a drone strike on a military hospital in Diling, killing nine and wounding 17. The conflict, ongoing since April 2023, has resulted in over 40,000 deaths and displaced 14 million people, creating the world's largest humanitarian crisis.
