💨 Abstract
The U.S. Supreme Court granted the Department of Governmental Efficiency (DOGE) access to Social Security Administration (SSA) data, including confidential information of millions of Americans. This decision was made after the federal government requested a temporary suspension following a federal judge's order blocking DOGE's access. The Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to bypass this judicial order, stating that the SSA can provide DOGE with its records to conduct their work pending a lower court's decision.
