💨 Abstract

The U.S. deported five immigrants from Cuba, Jamaica, Vietnam, Yemen, and Laos to Eswatini, a small African country ruled by an absolute monarch. Eswatini is holding these men in correctional facilities until they can be sent back to their home countries. The U.S. subsecretary of Homeland Security described the deportees as "bárbaros."
