💨 Abstract
On Monday, flights to and from Reagan National Airport outside Washington D.C. resumed after a morning fire alarm in the control tower temporarily halted traffic. The Federal Aviation Administration reported that flights to the airport remained delayed due to heavy traffic following the interruption between 10:45 AM and noon. Flights typically delay by an average of 39 minutes due to such interruptions. The FAA did not confirm if a fire was detected but stated the tower was fully operational by noon.
