💨 Abstract
A young couple, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, were fatally shot outside the Museum of Jewish Heritage in Washington DC by Elías Rodríguez, 30, who shouted "Free Palestine!" after being arrested. The couple, both embassy employees, were about to get engaged. The shooter was detained by museum security. The Israel Embassy in the US expressed grief, describing the incident as terrorist violence. President Trump and Israeli officials condemned the act as anti-Semitic.
