💨 Abstract

Dame Esther Rantzen's daughter, Rebecca Wilcox, spoke outside Parliament about her mother's terminal lung cancer and her support for the Assisted Dying Bill. Wilcox hopes MPs will pass the bill, allowing for a pain-free, compassionate death, fearing her mother may otherwise suffer a traumatic death. Over 100 campaigners opposed the legislation, advocating for continued support in living.
