A four-year-old British boy sadly drowned in a hotel pool in Tenerife's San Miguel de Abona. A lifeguard pulled him from the water, but paramedics could not revive him. Hotel guests, including doctors, tried to assist. The boy's identity has not been released. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office is supporting the family and is in contact with local authorities.
