💨 Abstract

In Australia, severe flooding in New South Wales has resulted in four deaths and left about 50,000 people isolated. Heavy rain caused widespread flooding, with some areas experiencing record water levels. Three victims drowned after driving into floodwaters, and a fourth was found on his flooded veranda. A 49-year-old man remains missing. The Prime Minister and state premier visited the affected communities, praising emergency services and volunteers for rescuing 678 people.
