💨 Abstract
Charlotte May Lee, 21, a Tui flight attendant was arrested in Sri Lanka for allegedly smuggling 46kg of synthetic cannabis. She claims she was unaware of the drugs in her luggage, suggesting they were planted by a man she met in Thailand. She has been described as "naive" by police. The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are reviewing her previous visit to Sri Lanka and airport CCTV. Lee could face up to 25 years in prison.
