💨 Abstract
A Russian veteran, Zaur Gurtsiev, credited with leading the deadly strikes on Mariupol in 2022, was killed by a suicide bomber in Stavropol. The attacker, identified as Nikita Penkov, used a homemade device. Gurtsiev, who was awarded a medal for his role in the airstrikes, was recently named First Deputy Head of Stavropol. Russian authorities are investigating the incident, considering a possible terrorist attack by Ukrainian Nazis.
