💨 Abstract
A woman in her 20s was fatally stabbed in the middle of Croydon town centre in south London. The incident occurred around 9 am today. A man in his 30s, initially injured, was arrested on suspicion of murder. Superintendent Mitch Carr expressed condolences for the victim's family and praised bystanders who tried to help. Police believe the incident was isolated and reassured concerns of local residents.
