💨 Abstract

Scientists are exploring the potential of studying prehistoric fossils to advance cancer treatment. A fossil of a dinosaur with a tumor was found in Romania, and researchers uncovered structures similar to human red blood cells. The discovery, led by Professor Justin Stebbing from Anglia Ruskin University, aims to draw parallels between ancient tumors and human cancers, offering insights into how the environment affects cancer development. Professor Stebbing emphasized the value of this ancient perspective in the broader effort to understand and treat cancer.
