💨 Abstract
Scammers are currently exploiting Nectar points from Sainsbury’s customers, draining accounts and locking users out. Customers like Fariba Rad and Amber Shuker-Bright reported unauthorized spending from their accounts. Sainsbury’s, however, asserts no IT issues, attributing fraud to various criminal tactics targeting the loyalty scheme. Scammers are selling account numbers online, and Sainsbury's advises enabling the Spend Lock feature.
