💨 Abstract
A two-year-old boy, Ethan Ives-Griffiths, was allegedly abused and neglected by his grandparents, Michael and Kerry Ives, before his death. The couple, along with Ethan's mother, Shannon Ives, are on trial for his murder. Prosecutors claim Ethan suffered extensive physical and emotional abuse, leading to severe injuries and his eventual death. The grandparents deny the charges and blame Shannon, who admits to fearing her parents but not protecting her son. The trial continues.
