💨 Abstract
This week, parts of the UK, particularly London and the south, are expected to experience a heatwave with temperatures reaching up to 32°C by Saturday. The Met Office has defined the thresholds for a heatwave in various cities, with London's being 28°C. This warm air from Europe is set to peak over the weekend, potentially affecting areas as far north as Manchester and Newcastle. Some places might even be hotter than popular holiday destinations like Lisbon and Barcelona.
