💨 Abstract
Israel's attack on Iran has caused turmoil in Middle Eastern travel, with flights canceled and airspaces closed. The UK Foreign Office has advised against travel to Israel but not Turkey, which remains popular among British tourists. The conflict has not affected Turkey directly, but the UK has long warned against travel near the Syrian border. Nine countries are on the Foreign Office’s ‘do not travel list’. Turkey recently saw hot air balloon crashes in Cappadocia, resulting in one death and several injuries.
