💨 Abstract

A 44-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in a shop on Stanley Road, Bootle, Merseyside. A 47-year-old man from Widnes was arrested on suspicion of murder. The incident is being investigated as a domestic assault, with no further suspects sought. Detective Inspector Gavin Mulcahy expressed condolences to the victim's family and urged witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to come forward. The police will maintain a high visibility presence in the area.
