💨 Abstract
The launch of new, air-conditioned Piccadilly line Tube trains in London has been delayed by a year until the second half of 2026. Originally scheduled for the end of 2025, these trains will add air conditioning to the sixth Tube route. The delay is due to unexpected complexities in testing, but will improve journeys with increased capacity and modern features.
