💨 Abstract
Wimbledon qualifying began today, with players competing for spots in the main draw, starting June 30. British players Ryan Peniston and Oliver Tarvet won their first-round matches. Qualifying is broadcast live on BBC platforms from June 23-26. Held at Roehampton, 16 spots in the main draw are up for grabs via a three-round knockout tournament. The top 104 players get direct entry, and eight wildcards are given.
