💨 Abstract

Monster Hunter Wilds and Marvel Rivals, initially successful PC games, have seen significant declines in player count. Monster Hunter Wilds, despite being a top seller, faced criticism for poor PC optimization, leading to a steep drop from a peak of over 1.3 million to around 8,000 players. Marvel Rivals, while free-to-play, suffered from unbalanced matchmaking and a toxic community, losing players steadily.
