💨 Abstract
While Glastonbury co-organizer Emily Eavis has responded to criticism concerning the Rapper group Kneecap’s performance at the festival, the group has been under fire for its statements regarding Palestinian liberation. Kneecap made controversial statements at Coachella around pro-Palestine which caused sharp backlash from Sharon Ozbourne among others. Following a band member’s release from terror charges, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer commented that Kneecap’s performance was “not appropriate".
