💨 Abstract
A cargo ship, the RED ZED, experienced a sudden steering failure and collided with a port wall in the Suez Canal. The incident occurred near the Al Quantara Ferry Terminal in Egypt, but no injuries were reported. The crew and tugboats managed to prevent further damage and avoid disruption to other ships. The Suez Canal, a vital shipping route, handles nearly 100 ships daily, transporting goods like oil and container ships.
