💨 Abstract

Morrisons is reshaping its Market Street concept, introduced in 1985, to modernize its supermarkets. Changes include the closure of 35 meat and 35 fish counters, 13 florists, four pharmacies, and 52 cafés. Meat selections will be pre-packaged daily, with butchers available for custom cuts. The retailer aims to maintain traditional service alongside self-service convenience.
