💨 Abstract

In times of disaster, radio remains a crucial communication tool. Unlike mobile phones or the internet, radio doesn't rely on complex infrastructure, making it reliable during crises. Experts emphasize that radio is essential for emergency preparedness and response, particularly in rural areas. During the Spain-Portugal power outage, Ukraine's conflict, and the Israel-Hamas war, radio provided vital information when other communication methods failed. Governments and international bodies recommend keeping emergency radios for blackouts or disasters.
