💨 Abstract
A 49-year-old woman, Lyndsey Amos, was given an 18-month suspended prison sentence for stealing £38,251.93 from her father, who has dementia. She misused her power of attorney to fund holidays, shopping, and beauty treatments. The fraud was discovered when her father's care payments stopped. Amos must complete rehabilitation sessions. Amos said no more.
