💨 Abstract
Wildfires, fanned by a heatwave, have swept across Europe, with Marseille, France's second-largest city, significantly affected. Over 1,000 firefighters battled a blaze that injured 110 people and disrupted transport. Flames also devastated other parts of France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Greece, forcing evacuations and airport closures.
