💨 Abstract
A wildfire at the Grand Canyon's North Rim destroyed the Grand Canyon Lodge and up to 80 structures, including historic cabins and facilities. The North Rim remains closed and evacuated due to fire risks and potential chlorine gas exposure. Two wildfires, the White Sage Fire and the Dragon Bravo Fire, are burning in the area. No injuries have been reported. The lodge was a historic landmark at the rim of the Grand Canyon and was often the first building visitors saw.
