šØ Abstract
The British Government used a superinjunction to conceal the relocation of thousands of Afghans who assisted British forces, following a 2022 data breach that exposed their personal details. This unprecedented use of a superinjunction prevented even the existence of the injunction from being made public. The government spent significant taxpayer funds to relocate these individuals secretly, aiming to protect their confidentiality and safety.
