💨 Abstract
Michael Bernard Bell, 54, was executed by lethal injection in Florida after killing five people, including his wife and two children. Before his execution, Bell expressed gratitude for not spending the rest of his life in prison. He was convicted in 1995 for a revenge killing and in 1996 for murdering his family. The U.S. Supreme Court denied his stay of execution. Bell is the 26th person executed in the U.S.
