A 7.3 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Alaska prompted a tsunami warning, leading to evacuations in Sand Point, Cold Bay, Sand, and Kodiak. The National Weather Service advised residents to move inland or to higher ground. The earthquake struck near Sand Point, affecting areas from South Alaska to Unimak Pass.
