💨 Abstract
A fraudster, Aidan Frier, was jailed for two and a half years after conning his grandfather out of £64,414. Frier fabricated a high-flying job and forged documents to deceive his family, including his mother and vulnerable grandfather who had recently lost his wife. He exploited his grandfather's trust to obtain funds for fake courses and loans, claiming he would repay them.
