💨 Abstract
On July 22, 20 years ago, Jean Charles de Menezes, a Brazilian electrician, was fatally shot by police at Stockwell Tube Station. Mistaken for a terrorism suspect, he was wrongfully identified and killed in cold blood. Despite family efforts, no police officer has been held accountable. De Menezes was "unrecognizable" after being shot seven times in the head.
